Most organizations do not struggle because they lack passion. They struggle because growth creates complexity. We started Echo + Ember to help growing organizations navigate that complexity with creativity, strategy, and practical support.
Sometimes that means shaping a clearer brand. Sometimes it means building a better website, designing a more sustainable workflow, planning a stronger event, or implementing systems that help a team operate with less friction.

Our Story
A Message from the Founder
I started Echo + Ember out of a growing conviction that meaningful organizations need more than ideas. They need a thoughtful partner who can help them solve real problems creatively, strategically, and in ways that can actually be sustained.
Over the years, I’ve worked across brand strategy, digital experience, operations, media, and live events—supporting growing organizations as they navigate everything from marketing and messaging to systems, workflows, and execution.
Over the years, I kept seeing the same pattern: good people doing important work, but carrying too much complexity without enough structure or support. I wanted to build a practice that brings together strategy, creativity, and implementation—helping organizations communicate more effectively, operate more intelligently, and make thoughtful use of tools like AI.

Daniel Copetillo is a strategist, creative leader, and technologist who works at the intersection of brand, digital experience, emerging technology, and organizational growth.
As the founder and principal of Echo + Ember, Daniel partners with growing businesses, schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to solve complex problems through thoughtful strategy and practical execution. His work spans brand positioning and messaging, marketing strategy, content and digital experiences, live events, operational design, and AI-enabled systems—helping teams communicate more clearly, work more intelligently, and build for sustainable growth.
As the founder and principal of Echo + Ember, Daniel partners with growing businesses, schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to solve complex problems through thoughtful strategy and practical execution. Across that work, Daniel is most interested in the space where ideas become useful: bringing together strategy, storytelling, design, technology, and systems to help meaningful organizations turn vision into something people can understand, experience, and act on.
Angie Copetillo - Consultant, School Partnerships
Angie is an organizational strategist, builder, and communications leader with more than 25 years of experience turning vision into action. A natural integrator, she brings together ideas, people, and strategy—recognizing individual strengths, building effective teams, and creating the structure and momentum needed to bring new initiatives to life.
Her career has spanned journalism and publishing, communications, education, and nonprofit leadership. She has founded and led schools, including The Habersham School, served as Chief Operating Officer of the Society for Classical Learning, built teams and programs, and led new initiatives from idea through launch. She holds a journalism degree from the University of Georgia and completed a joint leadership and management program through Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
At Echo and Ember Creative, Angie brings these worlds together—helping clients connect strategy, story, people, and execution. She is particularly at home with organizations navigating growth, launching something new, strengthening their communications, or turning a big idea into a practical plan.
